Nottingham City Hospital, Urology Centre
The
Urology centre for Nottingham city hospital is a steel framed building
with a portal roof. The basement had to be tanked on one side. The
building was set onto padded foundations that went straight onto the
sandstone.
It has a standard cladded brickwork exterior. The roof had to be
portalized so that platforms could be put in so access to the services
could be gained. As it is a heavily service building.
