HSP Scheme Opened by Richard Caborn MP
HSP consulting was invited to the grand opening of the prestigious £7
million office development at Hawke Street in Sheffield, for which they
were responsible for both civil and structural design.
Representing HSP, Associate Director of the Civils Division Mark
Bentley and Structural Engineer Stephen Gregory, were treated to
champagne and canapés, along with many other guests and dignitaries,
including the Lord Mayor of Sheffield and the guest of honour, the Rt
Hon Richard Caborn MP for Sheffield, who later unveiled a plaque to
commemorate the completion of the development.
Mark Twelves, Managing Director of Litton Properties is rightly pleased
with the project and proudly announced that the scheme was delivered on
time and under budget, to which Mr Caborn MP jokingly offered him a job
with the Governments Treasury!
Mr Twelves went on to thank the design team, including the Architect,
Peter Maxted, the Contractor, David Roe of Roe Developments and of
course the Structural Engineers, HSP Consulting.
