Continued success with BSF projects
Over the past 18 months HSP has been retained to work on Bradford Schools as structural, civil and geotechnical engineers on its phase II Building Schools for the Future projects. Kevin Fearn, who heads up the relationship, commented that HSP had added considerable value to the £200m scheme through value engineering and an innovative approach by the project team.
HSP is also the retained engineer for 4 other councils working in partnership with 4 main contractors and a project manager. These projects are considerable with HSP working on all engineering aspects of the projects. In total there are in excess of 50 schools being built or refurbished as part of these projects with a total project value in excess of £750m.
