Kevin Fearnshaw
SENIOR PARTNER 
Kevin has been a Director of the Practice since 2005 and initially joined HSP in 1998 as a Junior Engineer. At the end of 2001 Kevin left the practice to work for a multi-national consultancy in their London head office, rejoining HSP in 2003 as an Associate Director.
Kevin has been a Chartered Engineer since 2003 and works closely with the senior management team to manage the Structural Engineering division and the Geotechnical team. The divisions works with many public and private sector clients. Kevin’s recent projects include the design of a 13 storey city centre student accommodation block, a 300,000sq ft industrial warehouse, various architecturally complex car showrooms and the refurbishment/ extension of a Grade 2 listed Country House in Leicestershire. Clients benefit from his enthusiasm for structural engineering together with his open-minded approach to solving problems.
Kevin also acts as a mentor for younger engineers within the practice to assist them in gaining their Chartered status. Additionally Kevin is also the lead Director for the company’s IT systems.
Away from Engineering, Kevin enjoys travelling which often is combined with competing in triathlons. Kevin has literally raced around the world, representing Great Britain as an amateur at the European Age Group Triathlon Championships (Autun, France, 2006), the World Age Group Triathlon Championships (Honolulu, Hawaii, 2005) and various Ironman triathlons.
